El álbum ofreció su ruptura sencillo, “Slam”, que recibió airplay pesado en la radio y la televisión (MTV y BET), lo que lleva la canción a alcanzar el puesto número 4 en el Billboard Hot 100. Bacdafucup fue certificado platino por la RIAA el 25 de octubre de 1993. El álbum se divide la pista por pista de Onyx en el libro de Brian Coleman. Además de Slam, otros dos singles llegaron a las listas de éxitos, “Throw Ya Gunz” y “Shiftee”. En 1998, el álbum fue seleccionado como uno de los 100 mejores discos de rap de la fuente.
